Spring 2017 Repertory Season
April–May 2017

An exciting blend of diverse dance styles ranging from classical to contemporary, and jazz to folk, this season’s repertoire offers a dynamic display of high quality dance and choreography. EYB’s 2016/17 repertory program includes several new and original dance works by both emerging and renowned choreographers.

2017 Northwest Dance Festival

Hult Center for the Performing Arts

EYB hosts its sixth annual master dance series event that brings together more than 150 dancers, choreographers, teachers and artistic directors from around the state. This spectacular weekend event offers educational and inspirational workshops, master classes and performances. Guest teachers include University of Oregon faculty, Eugene Ballet Company principal dancers and artistic directors from the participating companies. All participants have an opportunity to perform in the evening showcase presentation at the Soreng Theater, followed by a gala reception. Individual student dancers may register before March 30 or until the Festival is at capacity.

Eugene Ballet Academy Annual Production

The Eugene Ballet Academy presents its annual year-end production bringing together the youngest and the most advanced students in an inspiring presentation of the dedication, commitment and accomplishment of students, staff and parents. Including repertory and original works from classical, modern and jazz repertoire, the Annual Production is an inspiring and educational dance event. Don’t miss this exciting and enjoyable performance that will provide entertainment and education for all ages.
